IT Employees Urged to Ditch Cars as RTC Launches Direct Buses to Gachibowli

New RTC buses inaugurated to connect residential areas directly with Gachibowli IT corridor for software professionals.

The executives of information technology no longer have to worry about the commute if they live in Hayathnagar, LB Nagar, or Dilsukhnagar. The Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) has opened up two bus routes that go straight from the residential areas to the Gachibowli IT corridor, so software engineers are no longer required to go through the metro transfers and cab rides that were once part of their daily commute.

The ceremony took place at the hands of Hyderabad Regional Manager Sudha Parimala. The new bus services—routes 156/316 and 300/316—are operated every day from 6 am to 11:50 pm and will serve a total of 40 neighborhoods.

Route Highlights:

  • 156/316: LB Nagar → Kothi → Mehdipatnam → Langar House → Narsingi X Road → Kokapet Cross Road → Garh → Continental Circle → ICICI Circle → IIIT → Gachibowli.
  • 300/316: Hayathnagar → LB Nagar → Sagar Crossroad → Pisalbanda → Poolbagh → Asmabad → Bandlaguda → Mailardevpally → Aramgarh → Upperpally Crossroad → Hyderguda Crossroad → Langar House → TK Bridge → Taramati → Narsingi → Kokapet Circle → Garh → Financial District → Waverock → ICICI Junction → Wipro Circle → Infosys → IIIT → Gachibowli.

Fast Travel for IT Professionals:
The authorities of TSRTC pointed out that the new bus routes are planned in such a way that they will synchronize with the IT professionals’ schedules and the travel to the IT hub will be made faster and direct without the stress caused by various transfers.

In this way, private vehicle traffic in the city is expected to decrease as well as a new of commuting which is convenient and cheap for the IT professionals in Hyderabad will be opened.
