The headmaster of a government school in Kompally has become the subject of a criminal case following the claim that he told four students of Class 10 to beat up a boy from Class 7.
The incident occurred a week ago Monday, and the seventh-grader ended up with back injuries. Reports claim that the kid disclosed it to his parents, who, in turn, hurried to the police to file a report about the occurrence.
As per the officials, the principal thought the boy was the one deflating the tires of bicycles parked in the school area. So, the principal, as per the claims, suggested to the older boys to hit the younger one.
The police have filed a case against the principal under the respective provisions of the BNS and the Juvenile Justice Act. The inquiry is at its initial stage, and more measures will be taken depending on the results.
