The RajaSaab Box Office: Prabhas Creates History in North America With Record Advance Bookings

Prabhas in The RajaSaab, as the film records massive advance bookings and sets new box-office benchmarks in North America.

The pan-India superstar Prabhas keeps on reshaping the concept of stardom with his newest flick The RajaSaab. Having the greatness of Baahubali as a stepping stone, the actor has become one of the topmost reliable names in Indian cinema. He is now a huge draw in both domestic and international markets. The RajaSaab has already started breaking box-office records in North America even before it was released in theaters.

Star-Studded Cast and Crew

The RajaSaab is a film directed by Maruthi and it is a co-production between TG Vishwaprasad, Vivek Kuchibotla and Ishaan Saxena as well under the labels People Media Factory and IVY Entertainment. The movie has cast Sanjay Dutt, the Bollywood esteemed actor, in a significant part and is flanked by the actresses Malavika Mohanan, Nidhi Agarwal and Ridhi Kumar who are the leading ladies.

Additionally, Boman Irani, Zarina Wahab, Samuthirakani, Vennela Kishore, Brahmanandam, VTV Ganesh, Satya, Prabhas Srinu, Yogi Babu and Saptagiri are part of the large cast. The photography of the movie is being done by Karthik Palani, the editing is done by Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao and Thaman is the one who has given the music score.

Massive Pre-Release Business

The movie RajaSaab which cost around ₹400 crores has made a big splash already through its teaser, trailers and other promotional activities. The film’s theatrical rights are estimated by the trade to have brought in approximately ₹120 crores in the regions of Andhra Pradesh and Nizam, ₹30 crores in Hindi, ₹8 crores in Tamil Nadu, ₹15 crores in Karnataka, and ₹4 crores in Kerala. The overseas rights alone are reported to be worth roughly ₹80 crores.

With an overall pre-release business pegged at nearly ₹250 crore, trade circles suggest the film needs to gross around ₹500 crore worldwide to be declared a major commercial success.

North America Advance Booking Frenzy

The RajaSaab is set for premieres in select regions of Andhra Pradesh and across overseas markets, where demand has been extraordinary. In North America alone, advance bookings have seen a massive surge.

The most current statistics reveal that ticket sales have surpassed 37,546 for a total of 1,784 shows in 526 different places all over the United States. Moreover, the movie has gained about $1.03 million (rounding off to ₹9.26 crore), hence the whole advance collection in North America has reached nearly $1.1 million (approximately ₹9.88 crore). Trade analysts predict that premiere advance bookings could touch $1.5 million (₹13.47 crore) if the current trend continues.

Prabhas’ Historic Hat-Trick

With The RajaSaab crossing the $1 million mark in advance sales in North America, Prabhas has achieved a rare hat-trick. The movies of his Salaar and Kalki 2898 AD, in the past, had similarly reached more than $1 million in advance tickets sale in the region.

Such an accomplishment transforms Prabhas into the only Indian actor who has received three consecutive openings of over $1 million for advance bookings in North America, therefore, solidifying his stature as a worldwide box office king.
