Pulwama Terror Attack Anniversary: PM Modi, Leaders Pay Tribute to 40 CRPF Martyrs on Black Day

The nation held its seventh annual commemoration on February 14 to honor the 2019 Pulwama terrorist attack which the country designated as Black Day to remember 40 Central Reserve Police Force personnel who died in Jammu and Kashmir. The CRPF camp in Lethpora hosted a wreath-laying ceremony to honor the victims of the 2019 deadly attack. The event brought together senior CRPF officials and civil administration leaders and security agency representatives to honor the soldiers who made the ultimate sacrifice.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi honored the martyrs through a message on X which stated their dedication to service of the nation still remains present in the nations shared memory. According to him the people of India find inspiration from his courageous actions. The Central Reserve Police Force honored 40 soldiers who died during the February 14 2019 attack. The force expressed through its tribute message that the soldiers bravery will remain in national memory while it continues to support all martyr families. Political leaders from different parties came together to honor the memory of the fallen soldiers. Vice President C. P. Radhakrishnan dedicated his tribute to CRPF soldiers who died in the line of duty.

According to him his dedication will continue to motivate the nation towards building a secure India. West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee paid tribute to the heroic soldiers who perished during the Pulwama attack while honoring their dedication and sacrifice to the nation. Congress President and Leader of Opposition in the Rajya Sabha Mallikarjun Kharge paid his respects through a tribute which stated that the martyrs will always be remembered for their brave deeds and dedication to the nation. The chief minister of Arunachal Pradesh Pema Khandu announced that the Lethpora heroes will always owe their debt to the nation.

The location received a visit from Manickam Tagore and S. Phangnon Konyak to pay their respects to the CRPF personnel who displayed exceptional courage and dedication. The Pulwama attack which occurred in 2019 stands as one of the most lethal terrorist assaults against Indian security forces.

The nation held a tribute event when the country remembered the 40 bravehearts who died heroically during the war because their bravery still exists in the memory of all Indians.
