The newlywed actors Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda are currently planning their wedding reception which will take place in Hyderabad on March 4. Rashmika invited Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy to the celebration through a personal meeting that formed part of their post-wedding ceremonial obligations.

The actress visited the location with her family members. She also interacted with the Chief Minister’s wife and family, seeking their blessings. The meeting visuals showed the family members of the newlywed star welcoming him with warm greetings.

Temple Visit and Nationwide Celebrations

The couple visited a Hyderabad temple earlier in the day to perform their special prayers at the temple. Their team distributed sweet boxes to 23 major cities in India as a way to spread their happiness to the public.

The celebrations included annadanam (food donation) programmes which fans and devotees could join at multiple temples throughout the country.

Private Wedding in Udaipur

The couple Rashmika and Vijay exchanged their wedding vows on February 26 in Udaipur during a private ceremony with their closest family and friends. The wedding maintained extreme confidentiality because it only allowed a small number of guests to attend.

The couple extended a personal invitation to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah for their upcoming Hyderabad reception after the wedding ceremony.

Rashmika shared her online experience which she described as a special moment when she met the Chief Minister because they discussed cultural heritage matters.

Upcoming Film: ‘Ranabaali’

The newlyweds will soon share screen space in the upcoming historical drama Ranabaali which is directed by Rahul Sankrityan. The wedding poster of the film came from a traditional look of the couple which they displayed during their shooting schedule according to the filmmaker who wanted to reproduce a natural appearance that matched the 19th-century period of the film.

The project marks one of the most anticipated on-screen collaborations between the real-life couple.
