Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja failed to win the Sankranti box office competition but his new movie restored his connection with his fans. The movie did not meet its target but the actor succeeded in entertaining his viewers through his active performance which he used to create a better movie than his earlier works.
The attempts of director Tirumala Kishore to create an engaging narrative failed because he could not produce a successful screenplay. The film dedicated its primary attention to showcase the battle which existed between its two female leads while it only included a few funny scenes as its main entertainment value. The team expected family audiences to connect with the film, but it failed to achieve that goal.
The fans now expect a strong comeback, and director Shiva Nirvana will satisfy those expectations.
‘Irumudi’ First Look Released on Ravi Teja’s Birthday
On the occasion of Ravi Teja’s birthday, the first look of his upcoming film ‘Irumudi’, produced by Mythri Movie Makers, was officially unveiled today. Although the poster was leaked earlier, the makers have now confirmed it.
The poster shows Ravi Teja in a completely new avatar—carrying his daughter on Ayyappa Mala, surrounded by devotees. This style is rarely seen among Telugu heroes. While Chiranjeevi has previously appeared in a similar look for a short duration in Bigg Boss, Ravi Teja is expected to have a much larger role in ‘Irumudi’.
A New Image for Ravi Teja
In line with fan expectations, Ravi Teja has shifted away from his usual mass-action image. The movie presents a revenge story but it primarily showcases the Lord Ayyappa theme together with its deep emotional elements.
The film will reach success when it establishes connections with Telugu viewers and extends its audience base to Tamil and Malayalam and Kannada audiences. Fans are craving such powerful and meaningful characters.
Release Plans
The film’s shooting has advanced at a fast pace to meet the team’s goal of a summer release. The report states that the company intends to release their product as a standalone title which will prevent any competition with major Pan-India films.
