Jio Launches New Long-Term Plans: Keep Your SIM Active for a Full Year

Reliance Jio introduces new annual prepaid plans to keep SIMs active for a full year with data, calling, and OTT benefits.

The telecom giant Reliance Jio, which is owned by Mukesh Ambani, still keeps drawing customers with their cheap recharge plans and good offers to the customers. Different users’ needs are covered by Jio which has just announced annual prepaid plans that do away with the problem of monthly recharges and keep your SIM active for a whole year or more. Here’s a closer look at Jio’s latest annual plans introduced at the start of 2026.

₹3,599 Plan – One Recharge, Full-Year Freedom

Intended for those users who like to make just a single annual payment, this subscription plan has a validity of 365 days. By paying the fee, subscribers will be able to make voice calls to anywhere in India without any limit, in addition to being able to consume high-speed data of 2.5GB per day (which adds up to 912.5GB thereabouts yearly), and also being granted 100 free SMS per day.
The users will also have the advantage of unlimited data at 5G speed and in places where 5G is available. Additional benefits include access to JioTV, Jio AI Cloud, and a Google Gemini Pro subscription, making it a value-packed yearly plan.

₹3,999 Plan – Ideal for Sports & OTT Lovers

Jio has customized this plan for the users who are fans of live sports and top-notch OTT content. The plan features a validity of 365 days, unlimited calling across India, 2.5GB of data per day, and 100 SMS every day.

People with 5G access receive unrestricted 5G data and a subscription to FanCode OTT for the streaming of live sports, in addition to this. Extra perks such as JioTV, Jio AI Cloud, and Google Gemini Pro further enhance the offering.

₹1,748 Plan – Voice-Only Long Validity Pack

For customers who mainly need calling and don’t require mobile data, this voice-only plan is a budget-friendly option. It comes with a 336-day validity, unlimited voice calls to all networks, and 3,600 free SMS.
However, it doesn’t have data, but it still keeps the SIM live for nearly one year; besides access to JioTV and Jio AI Cloud for some more cutting-edge things.

Jio’s introduction of these novel prepaid plans is a strategic move that highlights the company’s focus on providing users with flexibility, convenience, and long-term value—thereby allowing them to remain in communication for the entire year without the hassles of frequent recharges.
