The films released during the festival this year have been breaking records, with five movies being termed big hits and having collected huge amounts at the box office.
The season’s biggest attraction is the Megastar Chiranjeevi’s socio-fantasy drama, which within only six days of its release attained the point of no profit and no loss and already had ₹250 crore of gross revenue. The industry is, thus, already thinking of Sankranti 2027 where the line-up will be even more difficult to trace out due to the competitive nature of the films.

1. Mega 158: Chiranjeevi and Bobby’s Reunion
The megastar Chiranjeevi unarguably is up to his 158th film with Bobby as the director and KVN Productions as the producer, which is planned for the Sankranti 2027 release. 2. Venky – Anil Ravipudi: Sankranthi Ki Vaaram 2

3. Rajinikanth 173: A Mega Collaboration
The one and only Rajinikanth, a superstar, will deliver his 173rd film to Sankranti 2027 and what’s more, it is Kamal Haasan who is producing it. Such an extraordinary partnership has not only increased the hopes in both Tollywood and Kollywood but has also made it one of the most discussed movies of the festival.
4. Sharwanand 39: A Sankranti Favourite
The youthful performer Sharwanand has committed to his 39th film production through Mythri Movie Makers, and the helmsman Srinu Vaitla is equally as present. A lively comedy-action entertainer is expected to be the outcome of this film. Given Sharwanand’s remarkable Sankranti performance, his movie is already considered one of the major challengers.
5. Teja Sajja – Zombie Reddy 2
The worldwide hit “Hanuman” has given Teja Sajja a higher platform, working on the sequel to Zombie Reddy, a film brought to us by the People Media Factory. This sequel is within the Prashanth Varma’s universe of films, and the audience is patiently and expectantly waiting for the sequel that will be hopefully as thrilling and fun as its predecessor.
6. Sithara Entertainments’ Big Surprise
Naga Vamsi, the producer of a successful film “Anaganaga Oka Raju” is getting ready for a big release for Sankranti 2027 from Sithara Entertainments. The movie is likely to have a star hero of grandeur and a big-budgetsiceps. The specifics will be disclosed shortly.
