“I Don’t Know What Ishan Ate, But He Made Me Angry”: Suryakumar Yadav After 2nd T20I vs NZ

Ishan Kishan and captain Suryakumar Yadav celebrate after a dominant partnership during the 2nd T20I against New Zealand in Raipur.

Team India produced a dominant performance which led them to win their second T20I match against New Zealand by seven wickets at Raipur and established a 2–0 advantage in their five-match series.

India’s batters created a one-sided win for their team despite their bowlers performing below their standards which allowed New Zealand to score 208 runs. India successfully chased down the 209-run target within 15.2 overs while losing three wickets.

The match reached its peak when wicketkeeper-batter Ishan Kishan played his explosive innings which proved his abilities by scoring 76 runs from 32 balls with 11 fours and four sixes after his previous match performance.

Captain Suryakumar Yadav played a supporting role which enabled him to become the match’s main scorer while he scored 82 runs with 37 balls and nine fours and four sixes to destroy the New Zealand bowling attack.

The match shifted its direction because Suryakumar praised Kishan’s performance after he said that the left-handed batsman changed everything with his powerplay batting.

Ishan’s lunch and pre-workout drink choices remain unknown to me yet his batting performance reached exceptional standards according to Surya. Surya said that he had never witnessed such a powerful batting display because a team reached two wickets after they scored only six runs.

He stated that India scored eight runs during their initial two powerplay overs., making the eventual 75-run powerplay score even more remarkable.

“After 75 runs in the powerplay, that is amazing and all credit to Ishan. When you’re chasing a target above 200, this is the kind of innings we expect from our batters. He played with complete freedom and proved himself,” he noted.

In a lighter moment, Suryakumar joked about not getting much of the strike during the powerplay.

I felt angry because Ishan did not allow me to bat during the powerplay according to his statement which he made while laughing. His aggressive batting style enabled me to establish my position on the field. I feel pleased about achieving a half-century after an extended time period. My three weeks of practice at the nets established my batting performance during the game.

Surya evaluated the bowling performance because New Zealand appeared to be on track to achieve a larger score at one point during the match.

The team appeared to be heading toward a 230 run total at that time according to him. The performance of Kuldeep Yadav and Varun allowed them to restore control of the match according to him. Shivam Dube performed a key bowling performance according to the statement.

Suryakumar finished his speech by praising the team atmosphere while showing his belief in upcoming achievements.

The current atmosphere in the dressing room creates a very positive atmosphere. The team will maintain its current style of cricket for all future matches.

India will attempt to win the series through their next match because they have gained complete control of the game.
