The Indian stock market holidays are warnings for investors and traders. Because of Christmas, the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and the National Stock Exchange (NSE) will be closed on December 25 (Thursday).

Commodity Market Update
The Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) and NCDEX have also announced a full-day holiday on Christmas. Both morning and evening sessions will remain closed, bringing commodity trading to a complete halt for the day.

- December 25 (Thursday): Holiday season of Christmas
- December 26 (Friday): The markets come back to life and trade goes on as usual
- December 27 & 28 (Saturday, Sunday): Closure for the weekends
