The Telangana Council of Higher Education (TGCHE) has made public the full timetable for the Telangana Common Entrance Tests-2026 (TG CETs-2026) on Tuesday, which will be the basis of admissions in different professional courses for 2026–27 academic year.
As per the officials, all the tests will be taken in the CBT mode during the period from 4 to 6 June, 2026 at the official centres in the state of Telangana. All state universities will hold entrance tests according to their previously set obligations.
The Telangana Engineering, Agriculture, and Pharmacy Common Entrance Test (TG EAPCET) has been entrusted to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU), Hyderabad. The dates for the tests for Agriculture and Pharmacy are May 4 and 5, respectively, and those for Engineering are May 9, 10, and 11.
The TG EDCET would be held by Kakatiya University on May 12 for BEd admissions. Mahatma Gandhi University will be responsible for the conduct of TG ICET for MBA and MCA admissions on May 13 and 14. The TG ECET meant for lateral entry into engineering and pharmacy courses will be organized by Osmania University on May 15.
Law entrance examinations have also been scheduled. The TG LAWCET for both the three-year and five-year LLB programme is going to take place on May 18 in conjunction with TG PGLCET for admissions to LLM courses, all of which will be governed by Osmania University.
JNTU Hyderabad will also be in charge of the TG PGECET for the admission into the ME, MTech, MPharm and Pharm D (Post Baccalaureate) courses for the period of May 28 to May 31.
At the same time, the TG PECET for getting into BPED and UGDPED programmes will be managed by Satavahana University from May 31 to June 3. The programme covers physical efficiency and skill tests.
TGCHE has mentioned that specific notifications pertaining to eligibility requirements, application processes, and registration fees will be published individually by the CET conveners. The council has requested the two media types, print and electronic, to spread the examination schedule all over the place for the benefit of the students.
