Mallikarjuna Jyotirlinga

According to legends, Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati preferred this place for their home after a family quarrel because it was close to their son Kartikeya. Bhramaramba Shakti Peeth

The temple of Bhramaramba Devi, one of the Maha Shakti Peethas, is right next to the Jyotirlinga. The mythological tale says that the neck of Sati fell on this spot and the goddess is here treated as Bhramaramba—the god of bees and the fierce goddess of bees. The place of worship is particularly famous among the devotees who want to be protected and want the negative energies to be removed.
